Privacy policy

This policy explains how MapleGate Recruitment Inc. handles the personal information you give us through this website. Last updated September 2026.

Who is responsible

MapleGate Recruitment Inc. is responsible for the information you send us. For any privacy question, or to make a request described below, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Job seekers: name, email, phone, resume, work authorization, salary expectation, upcoming vacation plans, interview availability and any message you write. If you apply for a role, we also record your Right to Represent consent and when you gave it.
  • Employers: your name, email, phone, company and details about the role you want to fill.
  • Job alerts: your name, email, sector, city and the time you agreed.
  • How you found us: if you arrive from a campaign link, we keep the campaign details, the page you landed on and the referring site in your browser and send them to us with your form, so we know which channel worked.

Why we use it

To reply to you, to match candidates with roles, to present a candidate to an employer for a role they have agreed to, to send job alerts you signed up for, to run our business and to meet our legal obligations.

Who sees it

  • Our own team.
  • An employer, but only for a specific role, and only after you give your Right to Represent for that role.
  • Service providers that host this site and deliver form submissions to us by email (Cloudflare and Resend, at the time of writing). They process the information for us and may do so outside Canada, including in the United States.
  • Anyone else where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Application records are kept for three years after the related posting is taken down. A resume you register with us stays on file until you ask us to remove it. Employer inquiries are kept for as long as we are in touch about hiring.

Your choices

You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, withdraw your consent (including your Right to Represent for a role) or have it deleted, by emailing [email protected]. Job alerts include a way to unsubscribe: reply STOP to any alert. We may keep some information where the law requires it.

Complaints

If we have not resolved a concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top.
